Wren's Community Shop is a community run store, working on a purely volunteer basis
There are lots of ways to get involved with Wren’s.
Becoming a Member of the Association enables you to shape the direction of the business by attending the AGMs and either standing for election to the Management Committee or helping to vote onto the Management Committee the individuals you believe can best serve the interests of the Association. Any present or past resident of the Parish of East Knoyle can become a Member of the Association.
We rely completely on volunteers to keep the shop running. In addition to working in the shop itself there are many other tasks which pop up throughout the year. Are you artistically inclined? Could you design and create Santa’s Grotto for our annual Christmas Launch evening? Could you help out with editing this website? Could you assist in the training and development needs of the business?
Volunteering is recognised as benefiting not just the organisation for which we volunteer, but also ourselves. It can help us to make new friends, learn new skills and generally feel happier and healthier.
